What is Nemory and how does it help me manage bookmarks?
Nemory saves, organizes, and finds your bookmarks using AI-powered semantic search. Describe what you're looking for—even vaguely—and Nemory finds it, no exact titles or URLs needed. Create playlists, sync across devices, and never lose a link again.
Which browsers are supported?
Chrome and Firefox. Install our extensions from the Chrome Web Store or Firefox Add-ons. The web app works on any modern browser.
How do I get started?
Sign up free at app.nemory.me (25 bookmarks included). Install the Chrome or Firefox extension to save bookmarks with one click. Use semantic search to find bookmarks by describing them.
Features & Functionality
Can I use AI to search my bookmarks?
Yes. Nemory's semantic search finds bookmarks through natural language descriptions. Search "article about productivity tips" or "chocolate cake recipe I saved last month"—Nemory finds it without exact titles or tags.
How does semantic search work?
Semantic search understands meaning, not just keywords. Nemory analyzes your bookmarks' content and context to find relevant results even when exact words don't match. Search by topics, themes, or descriptions instead of precise titles.
What are playlists?
Playlists group related bookmarks by theme, project, or topic—like music playlists but for links. Create "Work Resources," "Recipe Collection," or "Weekend Reading." Add or remove bookmarks anytime.
Can I share bookmarks or playlists?
Yes. Share individual bookmarks or entire playlists through generated links. Perfect for team collaboration, resource sharing with students, or recommending content to friends.
Import & Export
Can I import bookmarks from Chrome or Firefox?
Yes. Import from Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, and other browsers. Export bookmarks from your browser as HTML, then go to Settings > Import/Export in Nemory to upload. Your folder structure stays intact.
How do I import from other bookmark managers?
Nemory imports HTML or CSV files from Pocket, Raindrop.io, Instapaper, and most bookmark managers. Export from your current service, then upload through Settings > Import/Export. Contact support@nemory.me for help with specific services.
Can I export my bookmarks?
Yes. Export all bookmarks anytime from Settings > Import/Export. Use the file in other services or keep it as backup. You own your data—we never lock you in.
Syncing & Devices
My bookmarks aren't syncing between devices
Try these fixes: 1) Check internet connection on all devices, 2) Confirm you're signed in to the same account everywhere, 3) Verify you have a paid plan (sync requires subscription), 4) Log out and back in on both devices, 5) Check the browser extension connection. How does sync work?
With a subscription, bookmarks sync in real-time across all devices. Save on desktop, access instantly on laptop or tablet. Sync works between the browser extension and web app. The free plan stores bookmarks locally only—sync requires a paid subscription.
Do I need internet to use Nemory?
The browser extension works offline for local search. Bookmarks stay in your browser, searchable without internet. Syncing across devices and semantic search need internet. You get both: offline access and cloud features.
Troubleshooting
I can't find bookmarks I saved earlier
Try these fixes: 1) Use semantic search—describe what you're looking for instead of exact titles, 2) Verify you're signed in to the correct account, 3) Check extension connection and sync status, 4) Check internet connection for sync, 5) Search different playlists, 6) Refresh the page or restart the extension. Still missing? Contact support@nemory.me immediately.
The browser extension isn't working
Fix checklist: 1) Update to the latest version (Chrome Web Store or Firefox Add-ons), 2) Disable and re-enable the extension, 3) Confirm you're signed in, 4) Clear browser cache and restart, 5) Check if you hit the 25-bookmark limit (free plan), 6) Verify extension permissions. Still broken? Uninstall and reinstall.
I lost bookmarks after upgrading or changing devices
Relax. If you used sync (subscription), your bookmarks are safe in the cloud—just log in on the new device to sync. On the free plan? Bookmarks live in your browser locally. Export from the old device, import to the new one. Need help? Contact support@nemory.me.
Pricing & Plans
Is Nemory free? What are the plans?
Free: 25 bookmarks, web upload only. Paid: Monthly €3.99 or Annual €35.88/year (€2.99/month, save 25%). Paid plans include unlimited bookmarks, extension sync, semantic search, playlists, and priority support. Switch plans anytime.
What happens if I exceed 25 bookmarks on free?
You hit a wall—we prompt you to upgrade. Your existing 25 bookmarks stay safe, but you can't add more until you upgrade or delete some. Upgrading unlocks unlimited bookmarks and extension sync instantly.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel through account settings with no fees or penalties. You keep paid features until your billing period ends, then auto-downgrade to the free plan (25 bookmarks).
Privacy & Security
Is my data private and secure?
Yes. Privacy is core to Nemory. By default, the extension works offline—bookmarks stay on your device. Enable sync? Bookmarks encrypt during transmission (HTTPS). We never share data with third parties, use it for advertising, or track browsing. Read our Privacy Policy for details.
Does Nemory track my browsing history?
No. Nemory accesses only bookmarks you explicitly save. We don't track browsing history, monitor websites you visit, or collect browsing data beyond saved bookmarks. The extension requests only bookmark-management permissions. See our Privacy Policy for full transparency.
